A pretty resort is great…but the BEACH can make or break a Caribbean vacation. 🏝️👀

And this is exactly why I don’t believe in recommending a resort based on marketing photos alone.

What looks perfect online may look completely different depending on when you visit and knowing those little details can make a BIG difference when choosing where to spend your vacation.

My goal with this Moon Palace The Grand series is simple: show you the resort through a travel advisor’s eyes so you can decide whether it actually fits the way YOU like to travel.

What social media ISN’T showing you about Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana Yes, it's beautiful. Yes, there's a TON to love. But when | visited in mid-August, this resort was still very much a work in progress.

There are unfinished rooms, pools and spaces, restaurants that may not consistently be open, and active construction throughout parts of the property.

Does that mean you shouldn't go? Not necessarily. It means you need to go with realistic expectations. If you're flexible and understand that you're
visiting a brand-new resort still working through its opening stages, you can have an amazing time.

But for my clients? I'd personally feel more comfortable recommending spring 2027 or later for a more complete experience.

My job as a travel advisor isn't just to show you the Instagram worthy parts it's to tell you what you actually need to know before spending your money.

Come tour my room at the BRAND-NEW Moon Palace The Grand Punta Cana! 🌴✨

And when I say these rooms are MASSIVE… I mean it. 👏

Plenty of storage, a huge bathroom, stocked minibar, balcony, and most importantly; actual space for a family to spread out without feeling like you’re living on top of each other all week.

Pretty is great, but when I’m checking out a resort, I want to know if the room is actually FUNCTIONAL for families too and this one checked a lot of boxes.

$400,000! 🎉

I finally hit $400K in booked travel for the year!

After getting so close so many times over the past two months, every time I was within reach of hitting this milestone, a booking would cancel and knock me right back. But today… we did it.

If you had told me back in January that I would:
✨ Become a Top Producer by February
✨ Leave teaching and go full-time as a travel advisor in March
✨ Reach $400,000 in booked travel just 6½ months into the year

…I probably would have laughed.

But here we are.

I’m forever grateful to Adam Duckworth for building an incredible agency that’s not only changed my life, but is making an impact on my family’s future.

To every single one of my clients, thank you. Whether you’ve booked one trip or several, referred your friends and family, shared my posts, or simply cheered me on from the sidelines, you’ve been part of this journey. I truly wouldn’t be here without you.

This business is so much more than booking vacations. It’s about building relationships, earning trust, and helping people create memories they’ll never forget. I don’t take that responsibility lightly, and I’m incredibly thankful you continue to choose me.
