Company History
The Greater Columbus Convention & Visitors Bureau was incorporated in 1941 as a private, non-profit organization to promote Columbus as a convention destination. In June 2003, the GCCVB started doing business as Experience Columbus in an effort to make the organization and its core missions more identifiable to local residents, leisure travelers and convention and meeting professionals.

The Columbus Arts Festival begins four weeks from today! 🎉

It brings three days of art, live music, theater and dance, fashion, local food and drink, and hands-on activities for everyone to the riverfront.

🎨 More Than 250 Local and National Artists

Browse through hundreds of artists’ work, lined up along the riverfront and over the Main and Rich Street bridges, featuring painting to photography, sculpture to jewelry, ceramics to wood-working, and much more.

🎶 Free Concerts & Performances

The Festival features four stages of live music, dance, theatre, and spoken word throughout the weekend.

🙌 Hands-On Activities for Kids and Families

At the all-ages Kids Hands-On Activity Village, volunteers from local cultural organizations help Festival-goers experience painting, silkscreening, printmaking, set decorating and more fun activities.

👗 A Fashion Show

Fashion as Art, a runway show featuring Columbus designers and models, returns to the Genoa Park Stage.

Everything keeps off this weekend on Saturday, May 9 with Hops on High in the Short North Arts District 🎉 We'll be hosting a special hands-on pop-up with Makers Social in celebration at the Columbus Welcome Center that you won't want to miss. Stop by through 8pm.
