Huge shoutout to my assistant Karen. This was the first vacation where I actually stepped away from my business and fully focused on my family, and she handled everything so professionally behind the scenes.

I think people sometimes assume being a travel agent is just booking a trip, but there is so much that happens before, during, and after travel to keep vacations running smoothly for clients. I’m really grateful to have someone I trust taking care of my clients the way I would.

Here are all of the tasks that were completed while I was away!

COMPLETED CLIENT TASKS:

-confirmed all names and addresses with DCL and updated the CRM to reflect changes
-Processed and added to CRM $1200 payment on their August Disneyland trip
-processed and added to CRM $350 payment on their May 2027 Disney World trip
-added Memory Maker and rescheduled Capture Your Magic reservation
-processed and added to CRM $200 payment on her September Disney World trip
-looked into why MNSSHP tickets were not showing up in her MDE, Tech Support fixed it, emailed client to tell her it was fixed and where to find them in her MDE
-sent payment link and processed $250 payment toward Utopia of the seas sailing; entered into CRM
-answered emailed question about how they know where and what time to get to DCL transportation to the port
-priced out adding an additional night to their trip and emailed client
- texted regarding final payments due on June Grand Floridian trip; made final payments and entered into CRM
- looked for BBB appointment, emailed client there weren't any available; also answered a couple of questions from client re: BBB appointment and dining reservation; made Toadstool Cafe reservations and emailed client
- checked that tickets were linked for Disneyland
- made $200 payment toward Disneyland trip
- made $800 payment and added Leaky Cauldron breakfast vouchers; emailed with new balance
- removed dining plan from client's package per request, emailed client with new balance
- made payment on Universal tickets
- I researched changing clients dates and resort for her February 2027 Disney World trip and sent her an email with the new total if we changed the dates and resort.
- Booked his Disney cruise and forwarded his confirmation. Also linked his reservation in his DCL app.
- emailed client to ask specifics about potential March 2027 trip
- reached out about tickets only for Universal; researched and sent a long email with options
- answered Scooterbug question that was texted -booked bounceback offer with 5 rooms at Pop Century
-talked with client a couple of times and sent out a couple of Disneyland quotes
-sent over some Bounce Back offer quotes.

As a small business owner, every review means more than people probably realize. I appreciate every single client who takes the time to support my business and trust me with their vacations 🥹💕

Hot take: please don’t ruin Disney’s Kilimanjaro Safaris for the rest of us.

If you saw the viral video of the guest getting out of the Kilimanjaro Safaris truck at Disney’s Animal Kingdom to p*e in the bushes… I have questions.

Because if this is how we end up with seatbelts on Kilimanjaro Safaris someday, I’m going to be so annoyed.

Bathroom before Safari. Bathroom before Rise of the Resistance. Bathroom before fireworks. Bathroom before anything where you can’t easily leave once it starts.

I finished purchasing Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets for my Disney clients, and now it’s time to link them to their My Disney Experience account!

Which party date are you hoping for?

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets are now on sale for select guests. Given how fast tickets sold last year, that one-week head start is a huge advantage!
