Today marked the final day of our Mystery Trip adventure. We began the morning with a fascinating guided tour of the Minter Field Air Museum, where we explored the rich aviation history of Kern County and beyond. Following our visit, we gathered for a hosted lunch at Giovanni's Italian Eatery in Shafter, enjoying good food and great company one last time. With wonderful memories made and new friendships strengthened, we boarded our coach and returned home to the Bay Area, bringing another successful Mystery Trip to a close.

Day 5 of our Mystery Trip took us to Edwards Air Force Base, where we enjoyed a fascinating guided tour of the Flight Test Center and learned about the important role the base has played in aviation history and innovation. From there, we traveled to Rosamond for a hosted lunch at the popular Ramon's Mexican Restaurant.
The day concluded with a memorable evening at Chalet Basque Restaurant, where we enjoyed a traditional Basque dinner accompanied by outstanding entertainment from Jerry Hall & Trick Shot, providing the perfect finish to another exciting day of surprises and discoveries.

Day 4 of our mystery trip took us around Bakersfield. Our first stop was the California Living Museum (CALM) for their annual "Boo at the Zoo" event, where we had a wonderful time seeing the many rescued animals that call the park home.

From there, we traveled to the last remaining Woolworth's Luncheonette in the United States, where we enjoyed a hosted lunch and a nostalgic glimpse into the past.

Our next stop was the Kern County Museum, where we were treated to a guided tour that included Merle Haggard's childhood home and exhibits celebrating the famous Bakersfield Sound, a unique style of country music that originated in the region.
We wrapped up the evening at Cowpuncher's Saloon, enjoying a hosted dinner and live entertainment by Matthew Bailey, the perfect ending to another great day of our mystery adventure.

Day 3 of our Mystery Trip took us from California's Central Coast to Bakersfield, with several memorable stops along the way.
Our first stop was the James Dean Memorial along Highway 46, where we took time to reflect on the life and legacy of the iconic actor. The site serves as a reminder of a Hollywood legend whose story continues to capture the imagination of generations.
From there, we continued to Bakersfield and enjoyed a hosted lunch at Hodel's Country Dining, where everyone was treated to a delicious meal and warm hospitality.
After lunch, we visited the Bakersfield Museum of Art, spending the afternoon exploring its beautiful galleries and exhibits. Guests enjoyed free time to wander through the museum, appreciate the diverse collection of artwork, and take in the peaceful surroundings.
It was a wonderful day of history, great food, and artistic discovery as our Mystery Trip continued to unfold.

Day 2 of our Mystery Trip was filled with unforgettable experiences! We started the day at Santa Margarita Ranch, where we enjoyed a scenic train ride through the historic property, followed by w**e tasting and an amazing lunch. From there, we continued to Ancient Peaks Winery for another delightful tasting experience. This evening, we arrived at the beautiful SeaCrest Resort in Pismo Beach before gathering for a delicious dinner at AJ Spurs. Another wonderful day of surprises, great company, and lasting memories!

Yesterday marked Day 1 of our Mystery Trip, and what a fantastic beginning it was! We enjoyed an incredible Mexican buffet lunch at Jalisco's in Watsonville before heading to Monterey for an unforgettable whale watching adventure. The day concluded with a comfortable stay at the Embassy Suites for our first night together. Stay tuned as the mystery continues and today's adventures unfold!
