After 11 wonderful days on tour, it's time to be home! So many miles, memories, laughs, and new friends along the way. Grateful for every adventure, but there's still nothing quite like sleeping in your own bed. ๐ŸšŒโค๏ธ Homeward bound! Good night and wake up smiling!๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ด

Day 10: Parks of the Southwest: Today was a travel day as we made our way toward Nebraska, but we still had a chance to enjoy a unique stop at the Great Platte River Road Archway in Kearney. The museum brought the story of America's westward expansion to life, taking us from wagon trains and the Pony Express all the way to modern-day travel.

After exploring the exhibits and gift shop, we enjoyed a delicious dinner together before heading to our hotel for the night.

Hard to believe we're nearing the end of our adventure. The miles have added up, the memories have piled up, and somehow nobody has missed the bus yet! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Day 9: Parks of the Southwest: What a day in Colorado! We kicked things off with a guided tour of Garden of the Gods, and those red rock formations never disappoint.

After lunch in Manitou Springs, we boarded the Pikes Peak Cog Railway and made our way up to the 14,115-foot summit of Americaโ€™s Mountain. The views were absolutely incredible the whole way up and even better at the top!

We wrapped up the evening with a fun chuckwagon dinner and a Western stage show at the Flying W Ranchโ€”good food, good laughs, and a great time all around.

Another full day in the booksโ€ฆ and somehow everyone still has energy left for tomorrow! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Day 8: Parks of the Southwest: Yesterday, we made our way to Colorado Springs with a stop at the fascinating Manitou Cliff Dwellings. It was fun exploring the reconstructed Puebloan dwellings, learning about their history, and getting a glimpse into how people once lived among the cliffs.

After another beautiful day of scenery and travel, we settled into our hotel for a two-night stay in Colorado Springs before heading out for dinner.

Hard to believe we're already this far into the trip. The miles have flown by, the laughs have been plentiful, and thankfully everyone is still speaking to their seatmate! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Day 7: Parks of the Southwest: Today, we headed into Colorado and spent some time exploring the historic mining town of Silverton before boarding the famous Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.

The train ride through the San Juan Mountains was absolutely spectacular! Winding along the Animas River, through canyons and mountain scenery, it felt like stepping back into the Old West. The views were incredible around every turn and the ride was definitely a highlight of the trip.

This evening we arrived at Sky Ute Casino to relax, enjoy dinner, and reflect on another great day of adventures.

I think the biggest problem today was deciding whether to look out the left side of the train or the right sideโ€”both had amazing views! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Day 6: Parks of the Southwest Part 2:

Later, we arrived at Goulding's Lodge and headed out on a sunset jeep tour through Monument Valley. Watching the sun light up the mesas and buttes in shades of red and gold was something special. We finished the evening with a steak cookout dinner in the canyon that felt like it was just for us! Lots of great memories.

Another fantastic day with a great group of travelers. And somehow, despite changing time zones again and again and again, lol, we all managed to show up at the right place at the right time! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Day 6: Parks of the Southwest: Part 1: What a day! We started with a beautiful cruise on Lake Powell, taking in the amazing scenery and learning about the Glen Canyon Dam. The views were absolutely incredible and gave everyone a chance to relax before our next adventure.

Day 5: Parks of the Southwest: Today was a free day in beautiful Zion National Park, giving everyone the chance to explore at their own pace. Some hit the trails, some rode the shuttle through the canyon, and others enjoyed shopping, relaxing, and trying out the local restaurants in Springdale.

Between the towering canyon walls and incredible scenery around every corner, Zion did not disappoint!

After several busy travel days, it was nice to have a free day. Although judging by some of our travelers, "free day" apparently means walking even more than the scheduled tour days! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Day 4: Parks of the Southwest! Today we journeyed across Utah and visited the incredible Bryce Canyon National Park. Our scenic drive through the park treated us to stunning views of Bryce's famous hoodoos, colorful rock formations, and breathtaking canyon vistas. Needless to say, there were plenty of "wow" moments and lots of photos taken!

This evening we arrived in beautiful Springdale, our home for the next two nights, enjoy dinner, and relax before more adventures ahead.

The scenery was absolutely spectacular... although the competition for the best photo may be getting a little fierce! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Day 3: Parks of the Southwest was packed with adventure! ๐ŸšŒ We crossed into Utah and explored the breathtaking beauty of Canyonlands National Park with a local guide. Towering mesas, deep canyons, and incredible views kept cameras busy all afternoon!

Tonight we enjoyed a delicious dinner overlooking the Colorado River before boarding a jet boat for a one-of-a-kind evening on the water. As the sun set and the stars appeared, the canyon walls came alive with lights, music, and stories that made for a truly unforgettable experience. What a fantastic day in Moab!

The good news? Everyone made it back to the hotel. The bad news? I think half the group would have happily stayed in Canyonlands forever! ๐Ÿ˜‚
