But right now, we’d like to take the time to give a special shout out to the many communities that have welcomed our Staycation Explorers over the years. We could only feature a few this time, but there’s more to come ❤️💛🧡 Now that we’re falling into the harvest season, we encourage all of our communities and explorers to find ways to not just gather things, but also gather together. Seek out ways to connect and enjoy the beauty of your environment, support local businesses that help uphold the vitality of your community, and most of all connect and fellowship. Closing out National Park Week with this treasure. Congaree National Park has a scenic floodplain forest and is home to one of the highest canopies in the world. It boasts over 25 miles of trails for hiking and 2.4 miles of boardwalk. Canoe or kayak the Congaree River on the marked Cedar Creek Canoe Trail, learn about the Heritage Preserve, go on a guided walk, and stay over at the campgrounds.
