Due to POPULAR DEMAND, I finally decided to open the pool for Casino weekend! Yes...I know it’s LATE--I actually wasn't going to open it this Summer since we'll be gone for large chunks of time. But, if I waited any longer, getting a contractor in August would be harder than getting a hookup for courtside tickets for the Knicks! (YESSSS GO KNICKS!!)
Soooooo…After our Friday Movie Night (featuring "Harlem Nights"), we’re keeping the FUN going with a MIDNIGHT POOL PARTY! That’s right! After the laughs, classic quotes, and good vibes from one of the funniest movies ever…we’re heading straight to the pool to cool off and party under the night sky.

**DDT “ALL ITALY” I, II & III: HOTELS:
Because we have 3 LARGE groups overlapping each other on our DDT “ALL ITALY” trips, we’ll be staying at different hotels throughout Italy. Our vendor has secured some beautiful venues for each group as we travel through Venice, Florence, Rome, and Sorrento. You'll need to know which Hotel to advise your car service on your arrival. After that, you'll be escorted by the Tour Leader:

My Good People, here are the updates:

**THE NEW WEBSITE: DDTCSI.COM:**
Since we returned from Zanzibar, I’ve been feverishly and SOLELY working on getting our NEW website up and running (DDTCSI.com). For that, I apologize for not replying to some email questions recently--But I'm getting back on it. We have another meeting with the new web designers this Friday to finalize/go over the information we’ve been uploading. The finish line is finally in sight! We should be GOOD TO GO within the next 10 days!
At that point, we will ONLY be using DDTCSI.com for all DDT travel purposes, registrations, updates, and information. So get ready to make the switch from the old, to the NEW and IMPROVED home of the DDT Family! It’s faster. It’s cleaner. It’s modern (with new features). And it’s built to better serve YOU! Out with the old. In with the NEW!

**DDT "ALL ITALY" GROUPS I, II & III:**
Our next trip up is DDT ALL ITALY!! GET READY FOR ANOTHER "IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE!" We have THREE groups headed to Italy, departing August 21–24, with nearly 130 DDT Family members. We're ready to explore the beauty, history, food, fashion, and culture of the incredible Italian Peninsula!
This trip is PACKED with experiences! We’ll begin in the magical canals of Venice, where gondolas glide through centuries of history. Then it’s off to Rome to experience iconic sites like the Colosseum and Vatican City. We’ll stand beside the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa, soak in the beauty of the Cathedral in Florence, and of course… do some DAMAGE at the designer outlets with Italian leather, luxury shopping, and getting some famous Italian “Black Gold.” Your credit cards are gonna need asthma pumps! lol
Then comes Sorrento, where you can choose optional excursions to the breathtaking Island of Capri (yes…get those renowned handmade sandals) or the stunning Amalfi Coast...And throughout the trip, there will be A LOT of Limoncello sipping (that's the delicious Italian lemon liqueur that tastes like sunshine). Somebody tell Italy…DDT IS COMING!!
Everyone should be full paid at this point. Jada has been sending out balance statements to family members who use Zelle, Cashap and PayPal. I'll be doing the ones who utilized electronic bill pay (checks) or money orders sent to the Post Office. We should be all set and ready to Rock and Roll!

**OPTIONAL TOURS/EXCURSIONS:**
There are a few optional excursions available on our DDT ALL ITALY trip. These are not required, but they can add some extra magic to your Italian experience! Hit me up so I can get you on the list.
Gondola Ride – $65.00
One of the classic experiences of any Italian holiday is a Venetian gondola ride. THIS IS A MUST! Approximate tour duration: 30 minutes.
Piazzas of Rome – $59.00
This half-day walking tour explores the grand piazzas of the Eternal City. With your local guide, you’ll stroll through some of Rome’s most famous and charming piazzas and streets. Approximate tour duration: 2–3 hours.
Full Day Capri – $139.00
Take a full-day journey by boat to the colorful Isle of Capri, led by a local guide. Visit lovely Anacapri, explore charming shops and chic boutiques, and stroll through the island’s narrow streets. Approximate tour duration: 7 hours.
These excursions are optional, but Italy is one of those places where the extras can become the stories you tell forever.

**DDT CASINO ROYALE WEEKEND AUGUST 7-9:**
This isn’t just a weekend… it’s a whole cinematic experience with flavor, style, and legacy woven through every moment.
FRIDAY: MOVIE NIGHT KICKOFF:
We ease into the vibe…Featuring the legendary film "Harlem Nights". Its Laughter, Popcorn, old funny quotes and nostalgia… the perfect warm-up before the real action begins.
SATURDAY DAY: BBQ & DAY PARTY:
Location: Pine Log Park in Conyers. Hotels are within walking distance. We’re talking music, dancing and a fully catered BBQ! This is where the DDT Family locks in.
SATURDAY NIGHT: ALL BLACK “CASINO ROYALE” EXPERIENCE:
Now the curtain rises…Inspired by the movie: "Casino Royale", this is where elegance meets energy...And the Coconut Sangria starts flowing like a tropical river… smooth, sweet, and just dangerous enough to make you forget what time it is. Get ready for:
 Live Casino-style tables.

DDT Quick Update!
**OUR NEW (OLD/NEW) WEBSITE:**
As I mentioned in yesterday's newsletter, our current website, Dancindougtravel.com, is expiring due to us working with some less-than-reliable people on a previous website project. But the GOOD NEWS is that we’ll soon be moving to our NEW Domain/Website: DDTCSI.com!
This is actually the website we originally contracted to build a couple of years ago, but it remained dormant. This time, however, we brought in some CERTIFIED Web Builders to get it up and running and get it done RIGHT!
The REAL good news?
Our NEW website should be up and running within the next 2 weeks!
Our current website was originally built back in 2008, with a few updates along the way. But this new platform will feature modern functionality, upgraded features, and better tools designed to help us become more efficient and better serve the DDT Family.
Since our old web address (Dancindougtravel.com) is expiring, we’ll officially begin making the transition to DDTCSI.com by mid-June.
It's Out with the Old. In with the New!

My Good People, here are the Updates:

**DDT ZANZIBAR & TANZANIA GROUP 2:**
I know I beat my chest about certain trips, but this one was ESPECIALLY AMAZING!
Between the boat rides to Safari Blu…seeing the Giant Tortoises on Prison Island…swimming in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean…shopping in the local markets…exploring historic Stone Town…and even spending a night in luxurious safari camps inside the Park (which I was NOT expecting!)…this trip delivered on every level...But then came the SAFARI!
Being up close and personal with Lions, Elephants, Hippos, Giraffes, Zebras, Gazelles, Baboons, Vultures, Wildebeests, Wild Boars, Monkeys, and beautiful exotic birds in their natural habitat was simply REMARKABLE!
This wasn’t just a vacation. This was a Once in a Lifetime DDT IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE! It reminded us why we travel in the first place: to see the world, embrace different cultures, and create memories that stay with us forever.

DDT ZANZIBAR & TANZANIA GROUPS 1 & 2…WE DID THAT!

**DDT LOVE GIVEBACK:**
This was, hands down, THE BEST part of the trip! Charitable works are part of the foundation of DDT. It’s who we are. It’s what we do.
Our first group, led by Shelaine and Ying, kicked things off with a beautiful charity event for the Green Pastures Orphanage. The following week, our group proudly continued the mission with our own school supply drive. But, after hearing about the children at the Maasai Village, our group expanded the effort into 2 phases of the DDT Love Giveback Program:
 Phase 1:
A large donation of school supplies, along with a cash contribution, was presented to the Green Pastures Orphanage, led by Pastor Douglas Mcharo Kiseu. Since his name was Douglas too, I had to call him “Pastor Dancin’ Doug!”
 Phase 2:
We brought toys to the Maasai Village where we stayed. Watching the excitement on the children’s faces as they picked out their toys was truly heartwarming.
One little girl named Tesa stole the show. She ran off to put on her new dress, then came back ready to strike a pose for us! You could instantly see it, she’s a little star just waiting for the world to discover her. God Bless the Children. And a huge THANK YOU to everyone who carried those extra school supplies in their luggage. When we all bring a little, we create a lot. That’s DDT. That’s why we say: Its a Love Thang!.

**DDT ALL ITALY I , II & III--FINAL PAY IS DUE TODAY!**
If you're traveling on any of the 3 DDT ALL ITALY trips this August, your FINAL PAYMENT IS DUE TODAY! Please don’t jeopardize your spot at the goal line or lose your place at the last minute. We have to submit our final payment to the vendor, so we need your payment NOW! If you need your balance, please reply to this email and I'll get it for you tomorrow (I'm jet-lagged today).
This is one of my favorite trips that DDT offers, and I’m genuinely excited about going back! We’ve got 3 fantastic groups traveling back-to-back-to-back in August, and trust me… Italy never disappoints.
From the canals of Venice, to the beauty of Florence, the history of Rome, the Leaning Tower of Pisa and the magic of the Amalfi Coast/Sorrento… this is going to be ANOTHER unforgettable DDT IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCE! Let’s finish strong and get ready for an AMAZING journey through Italy!

**THE DDT WEBSITE IS STILL DOWN!!**
If you remember, last year I contracted a group of web designers to build our new website: DDTCSI.com. It was supposed to have all the new bells and whistles you could think of. Unfortunately… it didn’t work properly.
To launch the new site, they took control of our original domain: Dancindougtravel.com, so traffic could be redirected from the old website to the new one. Since the new site was not functioning the way it should, we decided to move back to the original website.
HERE’S THE PROBLEM:
The web designers still have ownership/control of our original domain, and right now, they can’t be located. That’s why our website is still down while I continue trying to track them down and resolve the issue.
OUR PLAN B:
If I can’t locate them in the next 10 days, it looks like we’ll have to fully migrate over to the new website (DDTCSI.com). I'm already working on getting it properly updated and functioning the way it should. That process will likely take about 2-3 weeks. In the meantime, please be patient with us as we work through this completely unnecessary pain in the A*z!
We appreciate your understanding and support while we get the DDT website back up and running. We’re still here. Our Trips are still moving. Business is still operating. This is just a pothole on the DDT Highway. Grrrrrrr

**DJ SYLK'S ANTIGUA SUMMER FUN TRIP**
I just became aware that there are only 12 slots left for DJ Sylk's SUMMER FUN trip to the Royalton resort in Antigua. He has a great line-up and you KNOW the music is gonna be GOOD!
His information and the itinerary are on the attached flyer. It should be a GREAT time and a nice opportunity for those who are unable to do the Bucket List trips this year. So get on it!

DDT NEWSLETTER 5/12/26:
My Good People, here are the updates:
**DDT ZANZIBAR GROUPS 1 & 2:**
Our first group has officially arrived and is already experiencing the magic of Zanzibar! This is a REAL ADVENTURE. They’re hopping on and off of boats to different Islands and excursions, relaxing on beautiful beaches, touching the Indian Ocean, soaking up the culture, and even hanging out with the giant Tortoises. Zanzibar is definitely delivering the vibe.
For Group 2 leaving next week, here are a few VERY IMPORTANT reminders:
 Make SURE your passport has at least 2 blank pages remaining. This is CRITICAL. Without them, you WILL NOT be allowed into the Country. Check, and get to the State Department (if necessary), before we leave.
 If you tend to get seasick, please bring over-the-counter motion sickness medication. There are several different types of boat rides on this trip, and we want everybody comfortable and ready for the experience.
 Bring water shoes and/or flip flops.
 Be sure to have your charcoal pills or Imodium AD in case of diarrhea (different Country’s foods/drinks can upset your stomach).
 Bring face/wash cloths. Many foreign countries don’t use them.
 If you have allergies—bring your meds.
 Please remember: you're traveling to a foreign country. We're NOT in the United States. Things move a little slower (like WIFI), and the technology and systems may not be as advanced as what we’re used to back home. Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude will make the journey much smoother for everyone. This trip is about adventure, culture, fellowship, and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Zanzibar is already showing out for DDT… and GROUP 2, WE'RE UP NEXT!

**TANZANIA & ZANZIBAR CHECK LIST:**
PLEASE BE SURE TO CHECK ALL OF THESE THINGS BEFORE LEAVING: DOCUMENTS (Non-Negotiable Zone). If these aren’t right, the trip stops before it starts. Passport (valid 6+ months beyond travel date). Travel insurance (including Zanzibar mandatory inbound insurance). Copy of Tanzania Visa (or documents to obtain on arrival if applicable). Pen (for customs forms). Keep all of these docs/copies in a folder.
MONEY & FINANCIALS:
USD cash in $10s & $20s (NO $50s/$100s). Bills must be 2009 or newer (not torn). Credit/debit cards (notify bank before travel).
Small wallet + neck wallet for security. Tips envelope with name on it ($10/day guideline--$80pp for this trip).
CLOTHING (Safari Meets Island Chic) Safari (Mikumi / Mainland). Neutral colors: khaki, tan, olive, beige. Zanzibar (Beach + Culture) Breathable dresses / skirts (knee-length or longer). BUG & ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION: Insect repellent (with DEET or Picaridin). Sawyer Permethrin Spray (spray on clothes, not skin). Sunglasses, Hat or cap.
TECH & GEAR: Phone + charger. Portable power bank. Camera. Universal adapter (UK Type G + round pin combo). Headphones / earbuds. Binoculars (for safari). Snacks from home. Electrolyte packets. Small flashlight.
DDT LOVE GIVE-BACK: School supplies (notebooks, pencils, crayons, etc.). That's who we are. Thats what we do!

**REGISTRATION ERROR ALERT:**
We continue to see errors on trip registrations, (especially passport issue/expiration dates and middle name omissions).THIS IS SERIOUS!! A QUICKIE FOR ZANZIBAR GROUP!!
**CURRENCY TIP – TANZANIA (READ THIS!)**
When traveling internationally, currency exchange can make or break your experience--if you’re not prepared. The current Exchange Rate in Tanzania: $1 U.S. Dollar (USD) ≈ 12,609 TZS (Tanzanian Shilling).
IMPORTANT LESSON: (From Our Ghana Trip): Large U.S. bills caused issues when exchanging money. $50 and $100 bills are NOT recommended! They often get lower exchange rates and some vendors may refuse them altogether.
WHAT TO BRING INSTEAD:
✔️ Smaller bills are KING: $20 bills and $10 bills.
✔️ Make sure your bills are clean (no tears, markings, or excessive wear) and printed in 2009 or newer (older bills may be rejected).
It's best to go to your Bank and ask your teller for newer money before you leave.

My Good People, here are the updates.
As we slowly evolve as an agency, we have a new DDT Logo. Please look for it while traveling.

**DDT ZANZIBAR & TANZANIA--May 8 and 22.**
We're 3 and a half weeks away from Group 1 departing (and 5 and a half weeks from Group 2)--and THE EXCITEMENT IS BUILDING!
Everyone should have received an email from Ying today with the itinerary and "Things to know before going". Let me know if you didn't.
Please read the info and dress accordingly. Also, please be sure to bring a soft bag (back pack or such) for when we go on the Safari. You can put the things you need for the next day in there. The Concierge will keep our BIG Luggage (and it can be hard shelled) while we're away that day.

**DDT PAYMENT CLARIFICATION:**
(READ THIS SO WE DON’T HAVE CONFUSION LATER )
The amounts shown on the flyer are NOT the total cost of the trip. They represent the amount that should already be in your account by that date.
Example — Italy :
Total Cost: $3,500pp (Double).
Flyer showed: $2,500 due by April 1st.
* That means you should have had $2,500 PER PERSON already paid in your account by that day.
* Singles: Should have $4,050 in your account
Final Payment Deadline: June 1st.
Bottom line:
We’re tracking progress toward payoff, not restating the full trip price. If anything still looks fuzzy, don’t guess—reach out to me directly so we keep everything smooth and nobody loses their spot.

**GATE 1 MIXUPS:**
We’re running several trips with Gate 1 this year and next. They’ve rolled out a new confirmation process for traveler information and trip details that's been problematic.
Here’s the issue: We’ve encountered multiple system glitches—including duplicate emails and incorrect financial information being sent out.
I’ve already addressed this directly with Gate 1, and they’ve acknowledged the problem on their end. They're actively working with me to fix it.
WHAT I NEED FROM YOU:
If you received an email that includes ANY financial information (wrong deposit/trip amount), FORWARD IT TO ME IMMEDIATELY.
Please let me know whether you viewed it on a phone or computer.
WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
✔️ If your personal information is correct—go ahead and confirm it.
✔️ If something is missing or incorrect—(new passport, misspelled name) let me know. I'll work with you directly.
This process will help eliminate the flood of duplicate emails and keep everything running smoothly on our end.
BOTTOM LINE:
This is a new group policy rollout—and yes… it’s been a headache—but we’re getting it under control. Keep in mind, we PAY THEM MORE to have exclusive CUSTOMIZED DDT Trips with no other people riding with us. So, you will be with your DDT Family ONLY--Not hanging with Bob and Karen from West Bubble Bump. Let me know if something is still off with their emails.
