We received the following information from the Yellowstone National Park Service please share with your family and friends.

We wanted to let you know that our crews will begin plowing out of Cooke City next week. We've noticed that vehicles have been parked along the Wyoming side of the road between Pilot Creek and the Stateline. As plowing is scheduled to start—likely Monday afternoon or by Tuesday—we’d greatly appreciate your help in spreading the word. It’s important that vehicles are not parked on the road during this time so the plows can pass safely and efficiently. This will help us avoid any delays and prevent potential damage to parked vehicles.

Thank you for your help in keeping the area clear for our crews.

CLOSURE ALERT, BEARTOOTH HIGHWAY:

U.S. 212 weather report is calling for snow, high winds and blizzard conditions Friday night through Saturday.

U.S. 212 (Beartooth Highway) will close Friday, Oct. 3, at noon. Road conditions will be evaluated after the storm, and a decision regarding opening the highway will be made at that time.
