I know that I am currently in the middle of an epic train journey, but today is National Road Trip Day! In honor of that, I want to give a shout out to my favorite road trip buddies...
1. A fountain Coke- must be fountain and exponentially better if it is a McDonald's fountain Coke.
2. Aerosol cheese and Ritz crackers- which I only eat on road trips. It's a special delight from my childhood, it was a treat my mom always bought for vacation and I thought it was gourmet. 🤣

4. The people pictured in this photo. This one was taken when we did a 29 day trip from Raleigh, North Carolina to Alcatrez and back. It's one of my favorite vacation memories, EVER!

Ryan and I mostly fly in this current season, but I still LOVE a good roadtrip. I have three on my radar now- the Utah Parks, a journey down to Laurel, Mississippi and back to Nashville via the Natchez Trace, and a journey through the Dakotas. Those are all gonna happen sooner rather than later for us, Lord willing! I'd love to know what road trip you hope to take next!
