Start your morning with breakfast at this beautiful rooftop restaurant offering an exclusive storybook dining experience. The prix fixe menu offers delicious choices to please everyone in the family. Located on the 10th floor at Disney’s Riviera Resort.
From checking into our reservation with cast member Hannah she made sure all our allergies were noted for the kitchen and server ahead of time. As we were seated by a cast member Denise. She told us the backstory of the restaurant and told us about the exclusive terrace that is only available to guest dining in the restaurant with amazing views of Epcot,Hollywood studios and even Animal Kingdom in the far distance. Our server Alfie was absolutely amazing and was able to assist with our allergies and make suggestions that we were not aware of to enhance our dining experience.
Now for the review on the food. They start you off with a pastry basket which has croissants, warm chocolate chip muffins and a maple Danish that is served with honey butter and a chocolate hazelnut spread which is normally served with a housemade raspberry jam which we could not have due to allergies but we hear is absolutely delightful. I ordered the steak cooked rare and it was cooked so perfectly and was so flavorful and it cut like butter for me it was probably the best steak I've ever had. My boyfriend ordered the sour cream waffles with the vegan sausage and wow talk about a mouthful of flavors. The waffles were light and fluffy and came with a citrus maple syrup and a citrus whipped topping on top of sauteed warm apples. I was also able to order a side of the waffles so I could try them and this is definitely a restaurant worth coming back to again and again.
During your dining experience mickey and his friends ( Minnie, Daisy and Donald) are taking a break from the art studies to join you in the dining room to celebrate all celebrations.
After breakfast we went out on the terrace and enjoyed the amazing views and took a tour of Disney's Riviera Resort and felt like we were transported straight over into Europe. I also highly recommend checking out the Mosaic wall from Peter Pan and Tangled it was absolutely breathtaking.
