Artist of the Month: Christa Schoenbrodt
Christa Schoenbrodt, Studio Haus owner / art director / graphic designer / illustrator, brings insight from over 25 years of experience. After working in various design studios and ad agencies in Louisiana and Tennessee, even winning her first ADDY while in college, she started Studio Haus in 1996. Over the years, Studio Haus has been awarded graphic design and illustration contracts with clients in fields ranging from corporate to book publishing to non-profits.
Christa brings a wealth of artworks to the ACC, including hand-cut block printed scarves, t-shirts, bandannas, baby bibs…hand-stitched wall art & handbags…and artfully illustrated prints & greeting cards. All of her work is 20% off for the remainder of July!!!

Posted • .silverfern We’re so excited to announce that will be one of the two guest jurors of all of the 2024 Fiddlehead Gallery exhibition submissions!

Fiber artist Rena Wood received her BFA in Fibers from the Kansas City Art Institute and MFA from the Department of Craft/Material Studies at Virginia Commonwealth University. She is an Associate Professor of Fiber Art at Tennessee Tech University’s Appalachian Center for Craft (). Her work has been shown nationally in solo and group exhibitions; her work is currently on view at the Appalachian Center for Craft. Rena is a recipient of the Tennessee Arts Commission's Individual Artist Fellowship in Craft for 2023.

This year, ART Prowl will take place on November 10th & 11th. Artists must reside within 150 miles of Cookeville to participate. Go to artroundtennessee.com/artprowl to learn more and submit your application!
