Weekend memories like this make it all worth it!

Chris & Wendy left us this charming hand-drawn scene and sweet note after a weekend exploring Cooper Landing on their e-bikes and kayaks.

They stayed in our Brown Bear Cabin, nestled just steps from the Kenai River—and clearly, the views left an impression. 🎨🚴‍♂️🛶

Black bear cabin before and after photos!

Notice how the bedroom is bigger allowing bed access on both sides. No more rolling over each other to get in and out.

Notice the kitchen has room to cook next to the stove and a dishwasher! No more washing dishes by hand when on vacation!

One thing you can’t see from these photos in the bathroom has a separate entrance. Now if you are sleeping on the pull out couch you can use the restroom without disturbing those in the bedroom.

Our Black Bear upgrade is almost done! Take a sneak peak ar the kitchen and new private bedroom. I’d love to know what you think.

The drywall is up in our Black Bear cabin! Gone is the wooden paneling that covered all the walls. Gone are the styrofoam tiles on the ceiling in the bedroom. Hello, bright and spacious bedroom and bathroom!
