**8 days until Mohawk Valley Gives!**

Cooperstown is a place where history is all around us. In our buildings, our streets, our businesses, and in the stories of the people who have called this community home.

While we're fortunate to have incredible museums and cultural institutions throughout the area, there isn't currently a place dedicated to telling the broader story of **Cooperstown itself**.

The Cooperstown Foundation would like to change that.

Our next project is to begin developing exhibits about Cooperstown's history in the existing Cooperstown Visitor Center, creating another stop for visitors to explore while giving residents a place to discover and celebrate the stories of their own community.

This Mohawk Valley Gives, we're asking you to help us begin bringing that idea to life.

Did you know Mohawk Valley Gives is just 10 days away?

You may know the Cooperstown Chamber of Commerce, but did you know the Chamber has a nonprofit partner?

The Cooperstown Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization working alongside the Chamber to help strengthen the community we call home. We bring people, organizations, businesses, and ideas together to support projects that make Cooperstown and the surrounding area an even better place to live, work, visit, and build a future.

We're still a growing organization, with big hopes for what we can accomplish.

Over the next 10 days, we'll share more about the Cooperstown Foundation, the work we're building toward, and how you can be part of it during Mohawk Valley Gives.

☀️ One more week before school starts! How are you going to spend it?
