You’ve probably seen photos of this stunning bridge, sometimes called “The Hands of God,” but did you know it’s in a Vietnamese 🇻🇳 amusement park?

Just outside of Da Nang, is a whimsical amusement park called Ba Na Hills, made to look like a European fairytale land in the mountains. ⛰️✨

To get there, visitors take a cable car ride into the clouds ☁️ . . . just like in a fairytale!

tripFiles Highlight: Toorji Ka Jhalra Bavdi in Jodhpur, 🇮🇳✨

In Jodhpur, step back in time and marvel at the architectural splendor of Toorji Ka Jhalra Bavdi, a majestic stepwell built in 1740 by the Maharana herself.

Traditionally, the wife of a Maharaja, called a Maharana, would build a stepwell for the local people to swim and draw water.

Its design is based on Maharana Raani Tawarji’s home in Gujarat, and it’s one of my FAVORITE stepwells in India! 🇮🇳❤️

📸: Visit this stepwell after sunrise on a weekday for the best chance to photograph it without the crowds.

tripFiles Highlight: Amer Stepwell, Jaipur 🇮🇳💕

In Jaipur, step back in time at Amer Stepwell, an ancient water reservoir dating back to the 16th century. ✨🇮🇳

This is my FAVORITE stepwell in India! And it’s easy to see why.

Carved out of sandstone, this stepwell served as a vital source of water for the surrounding community during the hottest months of Rajasthan.

(This stunning beauty is a WELL, which is just further proof that India does Everything better!)

🚫 Stepping down into the stepwell is not allowed, but the guards might ask for a bribe do it. Although it’s tempting, paying a bribe only enforces corruption.

tripFiles Highlight: Agra, 🇮🇳

In India’s “City of Love,” kites soar over rooftops amidst the backdrop of a sandstone-red sunset. On the banks of the Yamuna River, the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world, becomes a spectacle in pink washed in golden light.

There are the BEST things to do in Agra, India! 🇮🇳

1. Taj Mahal - By far, the best way to see the Taj Mahal is to visit at sunrise when it first opens and take a secret boat ride. 🛶☀️

2. Agra Fort - From 1565 to 1660 four generations of Mughal emperors livedhere.

3. 3 “Baby Taj,” Tomb of I’timad-ud-Daulah - Finished in 1628, it is the Mughal first tomb to be built in white marble, inspiring the Taj Mahal.

4. Sheroes Hangout Café - Acid attack survivors come from all over India to work at Sheroes Hangout Cafe. One survivor, Rukaiya, told me, “All women are brave.”

5. Sunset at Mehtab Bagh - When Shah Jahan built the Taj Mahal, he wanted there to be a beautiful backdrop, so he built this garden, the best place to watch the sunset over the Taj Mahal.

3. Try fresh-caught seafood on Marina Beach at Meenavan Unavagam, or “Fisherman’s Restaurant.” 🎣🐟

4. Visit Higginbottoms, the oldest bookshop in India 📚

5. Try the “world’s biggest thali” at Ponnusamy Hotel – 45 dishes!!

6. Try famous South Indian foods like dosas, idli, sambar, vada, and uttapam. (We ate at Eating Circles in Chennai just like Virat Kohli! 🏏)
