Experience one of nature’s most magical sights at Cumberland Falls State Resort Park ! A Moonbow is a rare rainbow created when moonlight shines through the mist of the falls. Kentucky is home to one of only two places in the world where this incredible phenomenon can be seen on a regular basis!

Forget the Halloween Tricks. Bring on the Rock!

Kick off your Halloween celebrations with Tomahawks with TWO days of rock and roll in downtown Corbin on October 24 and October 25! The first-ever venue-style rock festival in downtown Corbin is bringing big energy, cold drinks, live music, and a lineup you won’t want to miss - including names like Saving Abel, Gunshine, Scotty Austin and so much more.

No tricks, just treats and a few spooky streets!

Get ready for a frightfully fun time the whole family will love! Join Corbin Public Library for two evenings filled with Halloween treats, classic movies, games, candy walks, face painting, hot c***r, hot chocolate, and cookies! Friday night brings an extra touch of magic with a special visit from a magician!

Ready for a few goosebumps? Join a guided outdoor Ghost Tour and hear spooky stories inspired by Corbin’s history and local legends!

Grab your favorite Halloween crew and enjoy some ghostly fun, local history, and just the right amount of fright. Ghost Tours and other activities are free and are happening this Friday, October 23, and Saturday, October 24, from 6:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m. at The Corbin Public Library, located at 215 Roy Kidd Avenue in Corbin.

“Witch” way to Downtown Corbin?

Calling all witches, wizards, and lovers of all things magical! Grab your broomsticks, round up your favorite folks, and get ready for a spellbinding evening in Downtown Corbin!

Come on out to Main Street in Downtown Corbin on Thursday, October 22nd, beginning at 5:00 p.m. and stroll through participating restaurants and businesses to discover bewitching drink specials (cocktails and mocktails), mystical small plates, special treats, exclusive deals, and maybe a few surprises lurking around the corner!

Dress up in your witchiest best and strike a pose at the many photo-worthy spots throughout downtown! Costumes are welcome but not required, so come in full Halloween splendor or simply come as you are and enjoy an enchanting night of food, drinks, shopping, and fun with friends.

Hold your Horses! Opening weekend is going to be a ride!
The Mint Gaming Hall - Cumberland is kicking off its 2026 racing season this weekend, October 17th and 18th, and you’re invited to join the excitement! Grab your friends and family and come experience the thrill of live harness racing right here in the heart of Appalachia.

Opening weekend is packed with fun for all ages, including: Moonshine tasting, food trucks, live music, face painting, bike and car show, sports and simulcast betting, and of course live horse racing!

Whether you are coming for the horses, the food, or just the FUN, Cumberland Run located at 777 Winners Lane, Corbin, KY is the place to be all weekend long!

On Saturday, the 17th, opening festivities begin at noon and on Sunday, the 18th, the festivities begin at 2pm, with post time being at 1:00 p.m. both days.

Calling all book lovers with a taste for crime, a love of the macabre, and a fascination with all things creepy!

Apollo Pizza Corbin Taproom is hosting award-winning Kentucky crime novelist and Apollo Pizza co-owner, Wes Browne, and Kentucky horror author, Chris McGinley, for a conversation with local podcaster/bookstagrammer, Teresa Brock. The evening will feature special book themed dishes and drinks for one night only.

This conversation and book signing is free to attend and open to the public and will include an audience Q&A, followed by a book sale with The Double Veil Bookshop and an author meet and greet and signing.

Don’t miss this eerie evening happening tomorrow, Thursday, October 15, 2026 starting at 6:00 p.m. at Apollo Pizza Corbin Taproom, located at 201 South Main Street!

🚧 Main Street Closure Notice 🚧

Heads up, Corbin! Main Street will be CLOSED from Gordon Hill to 7th Street on Saturday, October 10th from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM for our 2026 October Fest.

Please note: there will be no overnight parking on Main Street Friday, October 9th. During the closure, traffic will be routed to Depot Street, so plan your route ahead of time.

This closure makes room for a full day of fun — including the Cumberland Valley Cruise In, Whitley County Farmers' Market, and plenty of local artisans, crafters, and food trucks.
