Last night’s view from the Log Cabin. 🌈🌅✨

A little rain rolled through Northern Arizona, the clouds began to clear, and then Sedona gave us one of those evenings that makes everyone stop what they’re doing and look up.

Rainbows, glowing skies and an incredible sunset right over our peaceful Log Cabin property near Sedona and Oak Creek.

Sometimes Mother Nature provides the best amenity of all. ❤️

POV: Your vacation rental came with an orchard. 🍑🍐

One of our favorite little surprises at the Stargazer Log Cabin & Bunkhouse property is the orchard—and right now the peaches and pears are getting ready!

Tucked away near Sedona in the Verde Valley, this property feels worlds away from the desert landscape most people picture when they think of Northern Arizona.

Green pastures, mature trees, an orchard, private Oak Creek access and a cozy log cabin to come home to after a day exploring Sedona. 🌿

Today we’re feeling especially grateful—for this beautiful place we get to call home, for another long weekend to explore Sedona, and for all of the guests who choose to spend their getaways with us.

These incredible astrophotography shots were captured by guests during their Stargazer Vacation stays near Sedona.

Northern Arizona’s dark skies make this area an incredible destination for stargazing and night-sky photography—and some of the most memorable views happen long after the red rocks disappear into the darkness.

We may provide the place to stay, but our guests deserve all the credit for these incredible images.

Meet some of the wild visitors of Stargazer Vacation. 🦊🦌

Our properties near Sedona are regularly visited by the local wildlife, from foxes casually exploring the grounds to deer wandering through like they own the place.

It’s one of our favorite parts of life in Northern Arizona—and one of those little moments that makes a quiet morning or evening at your vacation home even more memorable.

Want to hike Devil’s Bridge like a local? 🌵🥾

Here’s one of our favorite Sedona hiking tips: if you have a capable high-clearance 4x4, you can skip the longer walk from the main paved parking areas and drive the off-road route to parking much closer to the Devil’s Bridge trailhead.

We teamed up with our friends at Arabella Off-Road to show you exactly where to go. Rent a Jeep or Bronco, enjoy a little Sedona off-roading on the way in, then hit the trail to one of the most iconic views in Sedona.

Less walking on the road. More time exploring the red rocks. ❤️

When your dad casually announces that he “got some B-roll for you.” 😂❤️

I had to laugh that he even knew what B-roll was—but then he sent me this drive through the green pastures and trees leading to our creekside log cabin and, well… Dad understood the assignment.

This peaceful, unexpectedly green side of the Sedona and Verde Valley area is one of the things we love most about calling Northern Arizona home.

Stargazer Vacation is truly family owned and operated—from hosting and maintenance to, apparently, the occasional production crew. 🎥🌿🏡
