The Treehouse OBX

We have been a little quiet lately, but we have two very good reasons…

This past year we both welcomed little girls into the world, and while we have been busy changing diapers, measuring bottles and getting in as many snuggles as we can, we did not stop working on improving the Treehouse for our renters!

As we work to get the house ready for the 2025 season we will be sharing the upgrades, DIYs and fun we have along the way - plus some old projects that we completed but never shared here because…well, we had our hands full with the little ones 😂

Thanks for continuing to follow along, and we can’t wait for you to come stay with us in 2025!!

We’re on Sea Oats Court in the Ocean Sands development in Corolla. We didn’t know what a sea oat was until we bought this place, but now we love them.

Everyone loves a good before & after.

Nearly every wall in the house is covered by this grained particle board, and we love the texture but the color kept the house dark and dreary.

We painted it and WOW what a difference! Can’t wait to show you the rest of the house 🤩

It has been a little over a month since we closed on this beaut. We’ve put blood sweat and tears into fixing it up and we’re almost ready for rentals!
