Meet The Balcony, our Outer Banks beach home located in the heart of Corolla, in the Sea Sands community, only 3 houses back from oceanfront, with unobstructed ocean views, and situated in a quiet cul-de-sac. This beautifully decorated 5-bedroom, 3-bath home sleeps 12-14 people and is perfect for relaxing with family and friends, inside or out. And if you like to vacation with with another family, you will love the unique layout of our family suites, one on each level. This spectacular property includes an in-ground private heated pool, hot tub, and outside shower, and you are only steps away from beach access. All this, plus, local shopping and restaurants within walking distance. And if you are looking to stay active while on vacation, community tennis is just a block away and there are miles of adjacent trails for walking, running, and biking. The Balcony also provides the ideal setting to watch breathtaking sunrises and stunning sunsets from our 2 wrap around decks that offer privacy from the green-space directly behind the home and unobstructed ocean views from the side; you may even catch a glimpse of the wild horses while lounging in one of our 2 hammock chairs! When you head to the beach, the undeveloped green-space to the north plus a large beach front means you will have plenty of room to spread out, play games, and enjoy the ocean without worrying about crowds! We have carefully decorated our home to reflect our style and to bring our guests comfortable and beautiful spaces. Our newly updated interior includes a spacious great room, complete with a large, comfy sectional where you can cuddle up with a book, watch the flat screen TV, or just take in the stunning ocean views. When it is mealtime, you will find our kitchen has been well-stocked and boasts new upgraded stainless-steel appliances to make cooking easy and enjoyable. It’s important to us that family and friends can share meals together, so we have added a new, modern farmhouse dining set that seats up to 10, and there are 4 additional seats at the breakfast bar, making it possible to seat 14 people together for a meal. If you prefer to dine al fresco, just step outside onto our upper deck where we have two large picnic tables set up side-by-side providing plenty of room for everyone to eat together. When it’s time to chillax, we invite you head down to our lower-level TV/game room and grab a drink from the bar, play a game or two on the table-top video arcade, or settle into the large sectional couch, with your feet up on the upholstered ottoman, to watch a movie on the large flat screen TV. Or you might just want to head outside for a refreshing late-night dip in the pool or relaxing soak in the hot tub! The Balcony is not just another beach house rental, this is our 2nd home that we are excited to share with our family and friends. Please note, we only rent to family and friends, and we book direct - we don’t use any booking sites. This means we are able to offer lower rates without additional feels (linens and cleaning included), and you get to enjoy the experience of visiting our home that we love, rather than just renting another cookie-cutter vacation property. We have tried to think of all the details, we include beach chairs, beach toys, upgraded linens and towels, family board games, high-speed internet, and much more.
