Come along as we highlight the magical Wild Spanish Mustang Horses.

The beautiful beaches in the maritime forest of Corolla are home to one of the last remaining herds of the wild Spanish Colonial Mustangs. These rare and beautiful creatures have adapted to life on a sandbar and are really breathtaking to see.

View the horses in their natural environment by taking a tour on a safari Hummer or by purchasing a permit that allows you to park on the 4-wheel drive beach.

To learn more about the history of our treasured horses, you can visit the website Corolla Wild Horse Fund. This non-profit organization is one in a million. You can visit their museum and gift shop during the spring and summer season, as well as having the opportunity to join them at their upcoming events.
