Hey friends! We've finally got some time to update the website! We've added 3 kites so far today, but plan on getting micropuzzles and maybe even a few other items loaded today.

To see what's new, go to our website and scroll to the bottom! The newest items added are at the top. You can also click on the shop drop down menu, and the very first category listed is newly added items!

And don't forget to check out the previously loved kites section! They're all on sale for 20% of the lowest listed price on the website. That discount will be applied automatically at checkout.

Happy Monday, friends!

We realized over the weekend that we never reintroduced y'all to Allie! She's back for her second summer, and y'all, this young lady is really becoming "one of us". Cath taught her how to fly dual line last summer, and this summer, she finally had the "click" with quad flight! We're starting to teach her how to do kite repairs, and her love for puzzles and games rivals our actual blood family!

She's here on Saturday and Sunday every week so that the Shooks don't have to sit in changeover day traffic. You'll also find her here on Monday mornings working, plus tons of time that she's hanging out in the shop with Cassie when she's not even on the clock! The shop has become her happy place, and we're so glad to have her here. Please give her love when you visit! Fun fact - if you love the jewelry selection this summer, Allie should get credit for everything new!

Happy Friday, friends!

First, check out our dear friend Tonny Toonen over at Fanø rocking her FSK tie dye on a gorgeous day of kiting! Its always so fun to see where FSK will show up around the world! We're so grateful for the kiting community worldwide. Y'all have gone from being acquaintances to family and we love you dearly!

Also, store hours have been tweaked for the weekends. Our amazing helper, Allie, has to go to her other job when she leaves here on Saturday and Sunday. We suggested that she gets a bit more time between the two jobs to give her a moment to breathe.

We hope y'all are having a wonderful Friday!

Y'all have been asking for yearssssss. So, we've finally brought in the most requested item! If y'all request bait at the shop, we can sell you some! It'll come in the form of guppies (imported straight in from Sweden!) and worms that might be a bit sour.

Disclaimer - we can guarantee that you won't catch any fish with this bucket of bait. But if you don't brush your teeth after consuming these guppies and worms, you might catch a dirty look from your dentist.

Kip Clements is in the shop today, catching up with us and checking out some of the vintage kites that we've got. Check out this masterpiece that he made 15 years ago! It's the Bodie Island Lighthouse. He dyed the fabric using a painting technique. Yes, Cassie took notes!
