We have had several inquiries about the current conditions. The Carova Fire and Rescue page is great source of information. Also, I have heard from our current renters about the conditions. Here is their assessment of the current situation. They seem to have remained positive through it all!

We do have 2 Jeeps. Water is very deep out front and has yet to go down. I have not taken my SUV out yet as the water is higher than the muffler. I have a 2017 Ford Explorer, 4wd too.

If you have a Jeep or something with high clearance you are fine. A regular 4 wheel drive like mine is too low for the height of the water right now and the water has not gone down at all.

It's been pretty crazy watching people kayaking canoeing and paddle boarding out front. We are having a great time and the house is beautiful. Thank you! We figured if the Thai children got out of the cave we will eventually get out. We just feel fortunate that we have food and booze and sunshine!
