Today is Free Fishing Day in Texas — and that hits different when June has officially been declared Over the Bridge Future Fishers Month. 💙🎣
What better way to kick it off than with OTB showing up for the coast.
Today our crew is volunteering at the Kate’s Hole habitat restoration event, helping restore oyster habitat and protect the waters our kids are learning to fish, love, and steward. This is exactly what OTB is about — not just getting kids outside, but teaching them to care for the places that shape them.
June is going to be big.
Our summer programs kick off June 15th, and we are getting ready for a season full of fishing, mentorship, conservation, competition, confidence-building, and memories these kids will carry with them for life.
