🔥 A Special Introduction to Our Church Family 🔥
At Fire on the Prairie Church, we believe God brings people together for a purpose. Today, we are excited to officially welcome Pastor Paul Jacques as our new Associate Pastor.
Pastor Paul, along with his wife Laci and their children Carson and Caitin, recently made Cottonwood Falls their home. We are grateful that God has led their family to Chase County and look forward to serving alongside them as we continue sharing the love of Christ in our community.
Rather than telling his story for him, we'd like to let Pastor Paul introduce himself in his own words :
Hello Church Family,
My name is Paul, and I am blessed to introduce myself and my family. My wife, Laci, and I have been married for 13 years, and we have two wonderful children, Carson (12) and Caitlin (11). We recently made our home in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas and we are excited to become a permanent part of the Chase County community. Laci was born and raised here, making this homecoming especially meaningful for our family.
God first placed a call to ministry on my heart when I was young, but after more than 22 years serving our nation, I felt Him clearly leading me to retire from military service and fully pursue the call. While I grew up in the Catholic Church and spent a season away from the faith, God graciously brought me back to Him. After meeting Laci, we began walking that journey together, and today we are both born-again believers committed to serving Christ wherever He leads.
Over the years, God has allowed me to serve in many areas of ministry, including children's ministry, worship team, Bible studies, Life Groups, missions, and preaching. Most recently, our church home was Farm Loop Christian Center in Palmer, Alaska. I have also completed a Biblical Studies certificate through Moody Bible Institute and have been accepted into Moody Theological Seminary for Pastoral Studies.
Through prayer and God's guidance, our family has connected with Pat and Kris Larkin and the ministry at Fire on the Prairie Church. We are grateful for the friendships God has already provided and are excited to see how He will continue to work in our lives and in Chase County.
More than anything, our family simply desires to love God, serve others, and use the gifts He has given us to build His Kingdom. After many military moves and transitions, we are thankful for the opportunity to put down roots and become part of a community we already love.
We look forward to meeting many of you and growing together in Christ.
Blessings,
Paul, Laci, Carson, and Caitlin Jacques
Please join us in welcoming the Jacques family to Fire on the Prairie Church and to the Chase County community! ❤️
