June 8โ€“14 is officially Family Connection Week in Utah! ๐Ÿ’™

This week, take a moment to put the devices down and focus on what matters most: connecting with the people you love.

Strong family relationships grow when children feel safe, stable, and supported. Try creating predictable routines, making time for fun, and using positive parenting tools to help children and teens build healthy behaviors.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Wildfire Season is Here โ€“ Is Your Home Prepared? ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Did you know that most homes lost during wildfires ignite from flying embers, not the main fire itself?

Creating and maintaining defensible space around your home can significantly reduce wildfire risk and help protect your family, neighbors, and community.

โœ… Clear leaves, needles, and debris from roofs and gutters
โœ… Remove dead vegetation and keep grass trimmed
โœ… Store firewood and combustible materials away from your home
โœ… Keep a safety buffer around structures
โœ… Prepare an emergency evacuation plan and Go Kit

Wildfire preparedness starts before a fire begins. Taking a few simple steps now can make a big difference when conditions become dangerous.

Learn more about creating defensible space and preparing your property for wildfire season by reviewing the Ready, Set, Go! Wildland Fire Action Guide.
