A New Price Point for Today’s Times
When Taste of the Valley Tours first began, our tours included wine as part of the overall experience, which meant a higher price point.
But times have changed.
With the cost of just about everything increasing, we wanted to find a way to make our tours more accessible without taking away the experience that makes them special.
So, we changed our business model.
Today, our 4½-hour scenic vineyard tours are offered at a lower price point, and instead of building the cost of wine into the tour, you get to decide what you want to drink and what you want to purchase along the way.
Wine lover? Wonderful.
Maybe you don’t drink at all and simply want to enjoy the scenery, the history, the company and the experience. That’s perfectly fine.
The choice is yours. And we love that.
We’re Not Just Visiting Tasting Rooms
There is something else that has always been important to us — and it’s a big part of what makes Taste of the Valley Tours different.
We don’t just visit tasting rooms. We visit vineyards.
There’s a difference.
The Verde Valley Wine Trail is more than a collection of places where you can sit down and sample wine. It’s a beautiful agricultural landscape with vineyards tucked into the scenery of Northern Arizona.
Our tours are designed to let you experience that.
Over approximately 4½ hours, we travel through the scenic Verde Valley, visiting 3 family vineyards along the Verde Valley Wine Trail while taking in the landscape, the history and the stories that make this area so special.
We want you to see where the grapes are grown.
We hope you will feel and appreciate the land.
We want you to understand that Arizona wine isn’t simply something poured into a glass at a tasting bar. There are people, vines, soil, weather, hard work and passion behind every bottle.
That’s what we want to share with you.
It’s About More Than Wine
Of course, wine is part of the fun — but it’s never been the whole story.
For us, Taste of the Valley Tours has always been about creating an experience.
It’s about slowing down.
It’s about looking out the window and realizing just how beautiful the Verde Valley is.
It’s about discovering vineyards you might never have found on your own.
It’s about laughing with your friends, meeting new people, taking photographs and making memories that you’ll still be talking about when you get home.
And it’s about doing all of that without feeling like you have to spend more than you’re comfortable spending or driving after drinking. 🍇🍇🍷
