Lord you have done nothing but prosper us. We have spent almost 4 long years with our heads to the ground grinding & building a business from the ground up. We did this with no mentors, no loans, no prime location, no restaurant experience, just pure hearts, a belief in God & a lot of grit & determination.

With tears in my eyes & sooooo much joy and thankfulness in our hearts we would like to say Welcome to FRIO Rolled Ice Cream on the Covington Square our 2nd location. We have submitted proposals and submitted for licenses so hopefully this opening will come sooner than later. We are working to open before the new year, but it’s a lot of work and a lot of moving parts.

We thank our community for supporting us at our current location, and if that is where you desire to go please continue to patronize that location. We will not be doing a huge grand opening for the new location until the Spring but we will be rolling on the square and having a super soft opening.

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, Covington will welcome the fall season with the Covington Fall Festival on the Square! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., enjoy free family community fun with a ninja wall, inflatable corn maze, yard games, petting zoo, and touch-a-truck. There will also be over 80 vendors to shop and visit, DJ Duck playing music, live music, and the businesses throughout the Covington, Georgia Historic Downtown Entertainment District will be open for shopping & dining!

The Square will close to vehicular traffic around 4 a.m. to secure a pedestrian friendly event.

Welcome fall to Covington with free, community fun while shopping and supporting small & local!🍂🍁🍂

Only a few more days until the 2025 Christmas in July Market on the Square on Saturday, July 19, 2025 in downtown Covington from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.! Vendors will line the streets around Square Park; summertime Santa will be in his Santa Chair; Christmas music will be playing by DJ Duck; members of the The Arts Association in Newton County "The Nutcracker" cast will be spreading cheer; and the downtown businesses will be open for shopping and dining!🛍🎁🛍

The Square and one block off will close to traffic at 4:30 a.m. on Saturday morning to create a pedestrian friendly event. Make plans to shop and eat in our downtown and experience a with the following vendors:
