🚧 Heads up, travelers! Major changes are coming to I-65 in Louisville this summer. 🚧

Beginning Today, June 1, a 5-mile stretch of I-65 between I-264 (Watterson Expressway) and downtown Louisville will temporarily close through Saturday, Aug. 1 to allow crews to replace three aging bridges and improve traffic safety.

🚗 Drivers should expect detours and increased traffic in surrounding areas during the closure. Officials say the temporary shutdown will speed up construction and save more than a year of additional lane restrictions in the future.
