New to Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest and full of heart — meet the Tin Man, inspired by The Wizard of Oz! Known as the Heart of the Forest, this soulful sculpture adds magic and wonder to your walk-through nature. ❤️🧙‍♂️ Visit from7am-7pm up Forest Hill Drive.

Meet Bernheim’s most beloved residents — the Forest Giants in a Giant Forest! Crafted from recycled wood by Danish artist Thomas Dambo, these giant sculptures are a must-see. Each one tells a story… and makes a great backdrop for yours. 📷

Day 1: Canopy Tree Walk

Step into the treetops! The Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest Canopy Tree Walk offers a breathtaking view 75 feet above the forest floor. Perfect for photos, peaceful reflection, and a fresh perspective on nature. 🌳📸 Hours to visit Forest Hill Drive are 7am - 7pm.

🗺️ Located just a short walk from the Visitor Center.
✨ Pro tip: Visit early in the morning for soft light and fewer crowds!

🎡 That’s a wrap on the 2026 Kentucky State Fair! 🎡

We loved representing Bullitt County at the Pride of the Counties booth, sharing our travel guides, talking about all there is to see and do, and helping visitors discover their next Kentucky adventure. 🗺️✨

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by to say hello, picked up a guide, shared a story, or made Bullitt County part of their plans! And, of course, thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped make it possible. 🙌

🐴 Day 9 at the Kentucky State Fair! 🎡

Today’s spotlight is on the Horse Show! 🐎✨

The Kentucky State Fair Horse Show is always a crowd favorite, bringing incredible horses, talented riders, and exciting competition to the fair. Whether you’re a longtime horse lover or just enjoy watching these beautiful animals in action, it’s definitely worth checking out!

There’s still plenty of time to experience the sights, sounds, food, rides, and entertainment that make the Kentucky State Fair so special! 🎠🌽🎶
