My mother and father built this beautiful home in 1987 and lived in it for 30 years. The house has been sold so we are no longer offering short term rentals. We want to thank everyone who had the opportunity to stay here and make friends with us. As it is in life this chapter closes and another begins. A sincere thank you to all. OMG! These springer salmon from the Rouge River are here! I lost one from the bank this morning, they are very strong, unpredictable, and just fight crazy wild. Before I realized it the fish rocketed to the beach and broke me off in 6 inches of water. Daniel Coelho and Greg Coelho gave me some that they caught, outa this world good. Thanks!

Pebble Beach just got debris on the road. It wasn't even much of a high tide at 4.9 ft.

The sunsets have been gorgeous! Rumor has it we may have a warmer winter. I have available rooms!

Thanks to everyone who checked in with me today regarding the earthquake and tsunami. So far everything looks normal. Most boats left the harbor and CHP blocked Pebble Beach Dr. If we see a change I'll post an update.

This morning the pelicans were feasting on bait fish. This never gets old!

I've been putting out some cat food for a tabby that I see occasionally. Early in the morning I followed this porcupine around the house. Guess he likes the food too!
