We were NOT expecting this… 🤯

Towering cliffs, massive waterfalls, caves, moss-covered gorges and trails that feel more like the Pacific Northwest than the Midwest 🌱🌊

Ohio gets a bad rep but this place definitely helps redeem it!

📍Hocking Hills State Park near Logan, Ohio

Must see 👇
🥾 Old Man’s Cave: ~1 mile in the park’s most iconic area with waterfalls, bridges, cliffs and huge rock formations
🥾 Upper Falls: an easy stop along the Old Man’s Cave trail
🥾 Cedar Falls: 0.5 mile trail to of the largest and most impressive waterfalls in the park
🥾 Ash Cave: 0.5 mile trail to a massive horseshoe-shaped cave and seasonal waterfall
🥾 Rock House: 1 mile loop to a cave-like tunnel carved into a cliff

Know before you go👇
💲 Admission and parking are FREE
⏰ Start early as parking and trails can get busy on weekends
💦 Trails can be wet, muddy and slippery,
🌊 Spring usually brings stronger waterfalls (or just after a rain), while fall is incredible for foliage
📞 Cell service can be spotty
🐶 Dogs are allowed on most Hocking Hills State Park trails but should be kept on a leash

We seriously kept asking ourselves… how is this OHIO?! 😍
