Planning a camping trip to Plumas County? Help protect our mountain communities!!!

Fire restrictions are in effect across much of the county. Before you hit the road, take a few minutes to check the current restrictions for where you are headed.

Keep in mind >
🔥 Campfires might only be allowed in designated recreation sites and developed campgrounds.
🚫 No campfires, charcoal fires, or wood fires outside of approved areas.
🚫 Fireworks are never allowed on public lands.
🚗 Park only in designated areas. Hot vehicles can ignite dry grass.
🚬 Make sure ci******es are completely out and don't toss them from your vehicle.

Our small mountain communities are surrounded by the forests we all love. By planning ahead and following current fire restrictions, you're helping protect our local families, businesses, wildlife, and the memories that make Plumas County special.
