If you love Christian music, worship AND Universal Orlando, you’re going to want to hear about this!

Rock the Universe returns to Universal Studios Florida January 22–23, 2027!

We spent an evening this January enjoying performances from Colton Dixon, Phil Wickham and Passion, riding attractions, exploring the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and ending the night with dinner at The Leaky Cauldron.

It was such a fun and easy theme park experience! We could go from worship and an incredible concert atmosphere to riding Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, grabbing a bite to eat, or hopping on a ride. And the crowd was so kind and welcoming.

It was worship, theme park fun and quality time all wrapped into one evening. ❤️

And the 2027 lineup is already giving us plenty to be excited about!

Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get enough attention when choosing a cruise: the sea days. 🌊

A cruise isn’t just about the ports you visit.

The ship itself is part of the vacation.

For some travelers, the perfect cruise includes a packed schedule of activities. For others, it’s lounging by the pool, enjoying a great meal, getting a massage, reading a book or sitting somewhere with an ocean view.

That’s why I always want to know how you like to vacation before recommending a cruise.

Because the “best cruise” isn’t universal.

Our Day in Key West! 🌴

Key West is one of those ports where you can make your day as active—or as relaxed—as you want.

You can explore historic sites, wander Duval Street, enjoy the local food and drinks, shop, relax by the water or simply get off the ship and soak up the atmosphere.

That’s one reason I like itineraries that include destinations like Key West: there’s something for a lot of different travel styles.

And after a morning of exploring (and Key Lime Pie!), there’s nothing wrong with heading back to the ship for a little pool time and dinner! 😉
