Mini hooves & big smiles! 🐐🐴 Basil, Sage, and Indy trotted off to Bright Beginning Children’s Learning Center today as part of our MTR on the Road program. Thank you to everyone who joined us for another incredible Barn University at MTR!

We were so pleased to welcome Dr. Boger for an insightful session on the science of equine learning. Participants explored the differences between habituation, sensitization, reinforcement, and punishment, applied real-world examples to see how these learning processes shape behavior, and discussed how recognizing cognitive limits and individual strengths can lead to more effective and compassionate training.

A huge thank you to Fluffy and Carter for their skilled participation and to everyone who came ready to learn and grow alongside our equine partners.

We’re grateful for these opportunities to dive into current research and bring thoughtful, science-backed approaches to our work with horses.
