Back when life was a whole lot simpler…
Our screens were quiet stock tanks, our apps were old tackle boxes, and the only notifications we cared about were the ones that came from a bobber disappearing beneath the water.
All we needed was a cane pole or an old fishing rod, a can of worms, a couple of cold drinks, and a long summer afternoon with nowhere else to be.
We learned patience sitting on the bank, watching that bobber dance in the ripples. We learned excitement when it finally went under. And we learned a little pride when we reeled in our catch—even if that fish wasn’t much bigger than the bait we put on the hook. (Pic Enclosed)
There were no video games to rush home to. No cell phones buzzing in our pockets. No screens keeping us busy.
Just dirt roads, muddy shoes, sunburned shoulders, the smell of the water, and the sound of somebody hollering, “I GOT ONE!”
Those weren’t just fishing trips.
They were childhood.
They were family.
They were the kind of simple, hard-earned memories that stick with you for the rest of your life. Wac Attack Lures Deadly Dudley Lures Fishbites KastKing Kistler Rods
