Hard to believe, but one year ago today we opened the doors to our new shop in the big Quonset hut on US 19. 🎉
Swipe through the photos. The first inside shot is what we started with. The next is what it looks like today: a working dive showroom and paddle shop filled with dive gear, Feelfree Kayaks, shirts, manatee gifts, and work from local makers.
Crystal River Kayak Company has been family-owned and serving this community since 1996. This building finally gave us room to put the shop and Dive Center up front, with our canal-side dock right out back.
Thank you to our crew and to everyone who walked through these doors during our first year. Some of you came to rent a kayak or book a tour. Some came to learn to dive, find new Sherwood Scuba gear, or pick up a gift. And quite a few of you simply wanted to see what was inside the big curved building. We are glad you stopped.
