Today we had a wonderful tour with 4 girlfriends from high school who traveled from all over the country to visit this area and taste our unique dishes! One of the tasty dishes on today's tasting tour was the Jambalaya filled with fresh caught shrimp, crawfish, grilled chicken, sausage, red beans and rice! The flavor is delicious and memorable! We enjoyed it with a little cold beer and watched the glistening water on the bay!

Fernley’s company, Tastes & Tales, offers food tours in Inverness. On the tour, you’ll visit three to four restaurants downtown and sample everything from local specialty coffee to cuisine prepared by a chef who placed in the World Food Championships. The total walking distance is roughly one mile.

"The best time to visit Inverness is during the winter holiday season. “It’s very charming in the fall and winter,” Fernley said. “They do have great decorations, and a lot of family-friendly events. It’s like a Hallmark movie during Christmas. They have tree lightings and all kinds of wonderful parades.”

Another great Crystal River Food Tour! Great conversations, amazing food with heart! Lovely day to walk Heritage Village and downtown Crystal River and watch the sparkling waters of Kings Bay! We also enjoyed a little shopping at Coastal Art Gallery and a warm welcome with a little wine at 🥂The Lemon Tree Gift House

It was a girls day out on the town! These Long Island beauties tasted their way through downtown Crystal River. These 3 hour outings take you through Heritage Village to taste a little wine 🍷 at Lemon 🍋 Tree Gift House, World Food Sandwich Winner (plus many other accolades) and we walk to the waterfront and check out the Crab 🦀 Plant Jambalaya , Bayside Seafood Grille for shrimp tacos & margs. We ended sweetly with a 🍩 chocolate crunch donut fresh and warm, homemade key lime ice cream and dark chocolate ice cream 🍨

Great day with the Naval Academy Alumni RV reunion today (and Elvis) in downtown Inverness! We had truly memorable menus at La Pergola Italian Argentinian Ristorante, Cattle Dog Coffee Roasters, Sweet Alps Ice Cream and ended with regional adult beverages at our beloved The Train Station overlooking Lake Henderson! We loved seeing the Valerie Theatre 🎭 and hearing their upcoming performances! We aew all about celebrating the best of local homemade dishes and anything from the heart!💙💙💙Join us for a tour sometime & we love putting together special tours for birthdays, anniversaries and all celebrations!
