Two ‘flood’ events in 2024 have resulted in sand being shifted near the pillars of the grist mill (Lamar’s Mill) from late 1800 time period. As best we can tell, the four corners are 30-32 feet apart. Visually, it appears to be nearly square.

The pink native azaleas are beginning to bloom. We have a few of these along the creek and plan to incorporate more of these lovely plants into the landscape at the cabin over the next year.
