Instead of waking up to a parking lot or a pool, you open the curtains to giraffes, zebras, and other animals starting their day right outside your window. Kids absolutely lose their minds. Adults aren’t far behind.

Here’s what I always tell clients: spend time with the animal guide in the room. Every room has one — it helps identify the animals on your specific savanna. Knowing the difference between a greater kudu and a nyala? That’s next-level safari morning.

And here’s my honest secret: AKL is consistently one of the LEAST expensive Disney Deluxe resorts. A savanna view room is a genuine splurge — but the property overall is one of WDW’s best-kept values.
