We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Visa, SCORE Mentors, and everyone involved in organizing the recent small business event.

It was truly an honor to participate in the panel discussion, engage in roundtable conversations, meet with political leaders from across Delaware, and network with so many incredible business owners, non-profits, community organizations, and stakeholders who are helping shape the future of the First State.

We especially want to recognize the support of SCORE Mentoring and our mentor, Mrs. Usha Gopalratnam, whose guidance continues to challenge us to think bigger, grow strategically, and remain committed to serving our community. Through SCORE's network of mentors, so many doors have opened for our family business, and we are incredibly grateful for the knowledge, encouragement, and opportunities that have come our way.

While we were fortunate to share the stage with many accomplished organizations and leaders, we remain humbled by every opportunity we receive. We never forget that our business exists because of the trust our customers place in us and the support of the communities we serve. Every experience, conversation, and connection reminds us how fortunate we are to be part of Delaware's small business community.

When we say we’re a small family business, we truly mean it. At Property Tenders, LLC, every member of our family plays a role in helping us deliver the best possible experience for our homeowners — regardless of age.

This week, we helped a homeowner update their dining area with a more modern light fixture installation. While the original fixture was carefully disassembled, our son handled the project photos and documentation process to help keep the homeowner updated every step of the way.

Before final installation, we made sure to show the homeowner different height options above the table to ensure everything looked exactly the way they envisioned it. Once approved, we finalized the install, cleaned the workspace, documented the completed project, and sent over final photos. Simple, professional, and stress-free.

As men, sons, and husbands, we may not say it often enough… but we know just how valuable our moms and wives truly are.

They were the first ones in our corner growing up — and they’re usually the last ones still standing in our corner when life gets tough. Their support, love, sacrifice, patience, and guidance help shape us into the people we become.

So today, we want to say THANK YOU to all the moms out there from all the sons and husbands. We appreciate everything you do each and every day — even the things that often go unnoticed.

And for those whose moms are no longer with us, remember this: without them, you would not be the person you are today. Their impact and love never truly leave us.
