If you own STRs in DFW, here are 3 trash mistakes that cost hosts real money:
1. Bins left out past collection day. Most DFW HOAs have a hard window — violations start at $50 and stack weekly. Most hosts don't find out until the fine hits.
2. Cleaner moving bins "when they can." That means sometimes 4am, sometimes never. Guests checking in to overflowing bins is a 1-star review waiting to happen.
3. No photo proof it was done. If a guest complains and you can't prove bins were handled, Airbnb sides with the guest. Every time.
Small problem. Big consequences.
