Tiki Heads Travel Club is headed to the unique & incredibly special island of Bermuda… with its famous pink beaches & super-charming British-Caribbean old-world ambiance with loads of history (a dash of pirate, too!) & the casually-elegant tropical environment of this incredible off-the-beaten path place, this island will ENCHANT you for many moons to come🌛✨
We’re headed to this pink sand paradise starting Thursday, June 4, 2026 for your choice of stay from 4 to 7 nights at the super unique 4* Grotto Bay Beach Resort! What makes Grotto Bay so unique? Get ready for THIS one: this beautiful resort is set atop a scenic hillside with ALL rooms overlooking a gorgeous beach, bay & ocean views with 1 king or 2 double beds… the resort starts at the top of the hill with a lovely lobby & restaurants & bars, all designed with delightful decor that’s hinting of a chic Tommy Bahama tropical style. Resort then spills down the hillside to the most notable & unusual recreational activities such as sailing, paddle boarding, fishing charter, etc… & the most notable activities being: float in peaceful grottoes & real underground CAVES (think stalagtites & stalagmites!) with crystal clear LAGOONS you can swim in, & even a SHIPWRECK ON-SITE!! (Snorkel & dive it, right off the beach at our hotel ON SITE! Bring your gear!🤿🐠). And the resort’s SPA is set *inside* one of the 500,000-yr-old caves as well!! WHAT?! This place is just SO COOL, it blew our minds the first time we saw it years ago… & fell in love instantly. We’ve never offered it ‘til now because Bermuda is upscale & a bit off-the-beaten-path & north of the Caribbean circuit, & a little more effort to get there with a connection (& so worth it!). Why is Bermuda considered upscale? Because IT’S THE BEST EXPERIENCE THERE IS. It’s Bermudian. What does that mean? Well, first, it’s a big helping of BRITISH flavor, as in afternoon-tea-&-scones British (which we’ll be doing at a very special place!), loaded with hints of the old-world around every corner, on an island with rolling hills, coral stone walls along two-lane roads (where NO rental cars exist, just local vehicles, mopeds, taxis & a local bus), emerald green “cricket” lawns (the game, not the insect! lol) & a red phone booth tucked in here & there. Second, Bermuda is also “Caribbean” with colorful island architecture, pristine beaches that are surprisingly PINK, super snorkeling & diving, variety of shopping in the quaint capital city of Hamilton, & all things surrounded with the bluest beautiful ocean imaginable! But did you realize that Bermuda is actually NOT in the Caribbean?! Bermuda looks Caribbean, but it is actually in the open Atlantic, almost 1,000 miles north of the Caribbean’s U.S. Virgin Islands & almost 900 miles east of the coast of North Carolina on our U.S. eastern seaboard! Don’t worry, the weather will be warm, hurricanes aren’t a big concern in early June, & it’s an easy connection to get there. Bermuda is an island in the shape of a fish hook (or a Captain’s Hook?!😜🏴☠️), only 21 miles long & 1.75 miles wide at its widest point. And last but not least, the Bermudian people are lovely & charming, just like their island, which is incredibly safe (crime rate is almost non-existent). Story: I accidentally left my purse in a taxi van one day in Bermuda (purse slid under the taxi seat) … & when I reported it to the head bellman at our hotel later when I went back downstairs to the lobby to look for my purse, he made note… & unbeknownst to me, the bellman called EVERY taxi driver on the island in the next hour ‘til he FOUND my purse! (whaaaat?!). And my purse contents were all intact & nothing was missing. WOW. Now THAT is how special Bermuda is. I’ll never forget it! Thurs-Tue, June 4-9– 5 nights: $2999* pp & up
Thurs-Wed, June 4-10– 6 nights: $3399* pp & up
Thurs-Thurs., June 4-11, 7 nights: $3799* pp & up
*Prices include roundtrip AIR from DFW to Bermuda (or call us for your city’s price), oceanview hotel accommodations at Grotto Bay, spelunking (exploring the resort’s on-site caves!), snorkeling/exploring the shipwreck, trip taxes, airport transfers, & tour es**rt guide (me!) to guide you to all the best things (island highlights & exploration), restaurants, lobby bar, beach bar, & rooftop lounge (fabulous at sunset!), activities, shopping, caves, shipwrecks, private afternoon tea arrangements, etc!). Note: Price above is subject to change, & price does not include spa, golf, or activities that require equipment or transportation away from the hotel. Pricing is NOT all-inclusive (meaning meals & drinks are NOT included), but Grotto Bay can be priced as all-inclusive if you wish for a reasonable extra cost. Since pricing was about the same to leave meals & drinks off the trip cost & pay for them as we go vs. adding them in up front (& having to eat & drink just at our hotel), we think it best & most flexible to keep our money in our pockets & enjoy meals & drinks exactly where & when we want to do so, both at our hotel’s restaurants as well as dine around the island. But it’s your choice! We will have dinner arrangements nightly, as this is an upscale & therefore foodie destination with great dining to be enjoyed around the island.
*Deposit & trip registry: We are only opening this trip up to a limited number of persons, so it is of the utmost importance to get your $800 deposit in for this incredible trip ASAP! If you would like to join us but need slightly different dates or departing from a different city than DFW, call us & we can make that happen. GOT MILES? *Prices are per person based on double occupancy (call us for single rates or to inquire about a trip roommate); SPACE CANNOT BE HELD without names, birthdates & deposit, so get your reservations made quickly, as prices will continue to change & rise daily, & space can & will sell out unless booked with payment. TO REGISTER: Please call/text us at 214-478-4200 to make reservations & arrange payment. Deposit of $800 per person is due within 24 hrs of booking. FINAL PAYMENT: Due 50 days before your departure date. Due to market & foreign currency fluctuations, prices are not 100% guaranteed until paid in full. Travel protection of $129 per person & up (depending on length of stay) is strongly recommended & covers if you must cancel for a serious medical or catastrophic reason; if you had to cancel, you would then have a travel credit good for a year minus travel protection & any applicable cancel fees.
