Hitting the road this weekend? Make your adventure a safe and healthy one, too!
📍Pack your patience – holiday weekends are some of the busiest times in parks. Take your time, plan, and maybe look to visit a place off the beaten path.
📍Plan like a park ranger – do your research beforehand on park websites or through the NPS App to know what you want to do, what to expect when you get there, and how to make the most out of your visit.
📍Stay safe – Stay hydrated, wear sun protection, and listen to your body. Who’s hangry? Oh, that’s your stomach.
📍 Wildlife Etiquette—Don’t Be That Visitor. Stay at least 25 yards from most wildlife and 100 yards from predators like bears and wolves.
