We have successfully helped numerous people find family members still living in the Czech Republic. Luháčovice is especially dear to our family. My great-grandfather, Alois Holy, was born here before immigrating to the United States in 1902. Standing in the place where his journey began is always a moving experience. It reminds me that our family's American story started right here, and it gives me a deeper appreciation for the sacrifices and dreams of the generations who came before us.
