You may ask, “What is it like traveling in a “Covid world”?. We just returned from Paris! We had a fabulous time seeing the sights, enjoying amazing cuisine in the cafes, and sailing on the AMALyra by AMAWaterways. We enjoyed 4 pre cruise nights at Hotel de L’Empereur. We went to the Louvre and were astonished at the beautiful paintings and sculptures. The on/off bus was enjoyable along with taking walks around town. And oh! The Eiffel Tower! It is breathtaking! One can’t get enough of seeing that! Did we have to wear a mask? Only when in an enclosed area. And on the river cruise we wore a mask in the lobby but once we sat in the lounge or dining room, we removed it. We did have to show our Covid card when dining in a restaurant or walking into a museum. The airport was easy; showed our negative Covid test and vax card, passport and off we went. Yes, we had to wear a mask in the plane. Overall, our trip was so enjoyable! The 4-5 course meals are hard to pass up on the river cruise! They were delicious! Do you have questions about traveling?
