The Sunnah Practice
It is reported that the Muhammad ﷺ would place his chest, face, and arms against this area and make heartfelt duʿā.
The companions also practiced this — pressing themselves against Al-Multazam, raising their hands, and pouring out their duas with tears and hope.
✨ Why is it special?
* It is a place of intimate supplication.
* A place where hearts break and duas rise.
* A moment of closeness between the servant and Allah.
* Many scholars mention that duʿā made at Al-Multazam is hoped to be accepted.
There is no specific fixed duʿā — you speak to Allah from your heart. Ask for forgiveness, Jannah, relief from worries, protection for your family, and whatever your soul longs for.
🕊️ A Beautiful Reflection
When a believer clings to Al-Multazam, it is as if they are saying:
“Ya Allah, I have nowhere else to go. I hold onto Your House, hoping You hold onto me with Your mercy.”
