Last year: Adam ✅ Jack Crevalle + ✅ Sheepshead.
This year’s mission: TRIPLE TAIL.

🔹 Break-off heartbreak 💔
🔹 Second break-off 😩
🔹 Third bite… BOOM 💥 — 12lb beauty in the net! (With Adam’s earlier leader still in its mouth 😱)

Then Adam spots a log mid-channel… “Let’s check it.” Good call — another triple tail, this time sight-casted & self-guided! 10+ lbs of pure 🔥.

After that? Specks, macks, and even a Jack for Cooper.
Mission complete by 8:40am. Everything else = lagniappe. 🏆

What a day on the water with this amazing family! From start to finish, they were all about the experience — and the fish sure showed up!

They landed a great variety: speckled trout, Spanish mackerel, Jack Crevalle, red snapper, redfish, ladyfish, several sharks and the list goes on.
Every fish was met with excitement and appreciation — these folks celebrated every catch like it was the first.

Grateful to have shared the boat with such a fun, respectful crew. Days like this are what it’s all about!

Had the privilege of being Cooper’s fishing guide again for the Roy Martin Young Anglers Tournament hosted by the Alabama Deep Sea Rodeo. Cooper has been fishing this tournament since he was 5 years old, and each year has its own story. This year was all about variety.

This year, he entered 9 different species into the tournament — plus caught another 5 tournament species! Cooper took 1st place with a Bluefish. Last year he had 2nd place Bluefish.

The highlight of the day? Non-stop action casting lures like the Beach Bum Gunslinger and Z-Man PaddlerZ, pulling in Spanish mackerel, ladyfish, and bluefish on nearly every cast.

Proud dad moment watching Cooper’s love for fishing and respect for all species out there. Big thanks to everyone who makes RMYAT such an awesome event for kids of all ages.

We are in an amazing time of year with near perfect weather. Our trips continue to have a heavy focus on yet most everyday we are finding and . The upcoming weeks we will likely see more shots at Jack Crevalle, Spanish mackerel, triple tail, etc… June has only one open date and July is filling up.
