Just seen a post about someone painting Timon and Pumbaa on their nephew’s bedroom wall for his nursery.

Got me thinking maybe why Emily is such a Disney fanatic and why we like our Disney themed bedrooms at Goofys Golf Getaway. This is how I painted Emily’s nursery some 27 years ago!

Crazy thing is we moved before she was 18 months old so she never really got to see it that much!

Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill closes permanently on September 13, 2026. The 250-seat Town Center restaurant opened in November 2018. No replacement has been announced for the space. Full details linked in the comments.

Today we welcome the Lancaster’s to Goofys Golf Getaway. Safe travels from the U.K. and have a fantastic time in Florida 😎

Check out this incredible aerial view of the Magic Kingdom, offering a stunning view of the park at this stage of construction. You can even see the Utilidor tunnel that extends down Main Street USA towards the future site of Cinderella Castle!

What an awesome review from our most recent guests. This detail is also fantastic for anyone looking to book our vacation home as things like drive times to local restaurants and the theme parks (as well as how we maintain our home 😊) are great when these are coming from guest experiences rather than the owner stating these. We haven’t checked this place out yet but been to the eateries around it so it’s on our list for our next visit. Especially when Music By Chris FL is playing there 🎸🎤 - get yourselves along if you enjoy great live music.
