Been so busy with work and forgot to post this yesterday......

Yesterday marked the 7th anniversary of our family owning Toni's Villa in memory of our brave Grandad. Can't believe how the years have gone by so quickly ❤

How it's changed over the years from when we first had it.
Will continue to improve and make it the best I can.
It doesn't come without 'heart in the mouth moments' but still enjoy taking the bookings, dealing with our lovely guests, getting great reviews and of course enjoy our trips there....roll on November.
Thank you to all of those that have shared this journey with us ❤️ and those that have crossed our paths during this journey. Not forgetting the lovely friends I've met, that I would never have known without owning our gorgeous home away from home.

Just when we thought our jobs were done!

A couple of days ago we noticed the plants we put in were being eaten! Discovered that it was the rabbits 🐇!

So we've now protected them and it worked!

We will see how established they are when we are back in November and make the decision on whether to remove it or not!

Highly recommend this place for a few drinks and good old British food.

We've just returned from having Sunday lunch it was lovely

Only a 5 minute drive from the villa just up from Cagans Crossing.

The final job done this morning planting 3 new shrubs at the front of our home.

Yesterday we made up a new coffee table and two side tables (tool box needed for this so it definitely got locked away 😀).

Planting of these did not require the tool box😂.

Our jobs are now done, we are going to relax and enjoy the rest of our stay!

So yesterday we took a break from the maintenance and we did the Apopka Wildlife Drive. It's about 25 miles away from Toni's Villa and is such a great few hours out. The wildlife drive itself takes around 2-3 hours depending on how many times you stop.

We saw lots of gators and different types of birds. Highly recommend.

Take plenty to drink as there is nothing in the park to buy.

I've always quite liked this green furniture in the double room, however, last year before we left we noticed that there was quite a bit of super glue spilt on top or the drawers and spills on the front of the drawers so knew we had to sort it at this visit.

Thankfully the glue remover is working and we are painting the furniture to cover up any marks.

Will post another update when complete.

More little jobs out of the way today.

All cushions washed and freshened up, paint touch ups complete (although we are bound to find more before we come home 😂), new clock added to the kitchen/diner area, cleaned the twin room light and added 3 spare lanterns as thought may as well rather them sit in the owners cupboard! Also tightened up the master headboard as it had worked its way loose ...oh and not forgetting new vent fitted in the master en-suite as it had gone a bit rusty!
