So we have been at the villa for 2 weeks. This time was relatively easy...replaced the sprinklers on the irrigation sys...

So we have been at the villa for 2 weeks. This time was relatively easy...replaced the sprinklers on the irrigation system, fed the plants, bleached the deck and porch, cleaned the pool furniture, added a new lockup cupboard, cleaned the windows, washed and replaced all the bedding, replaced the front lights, put new wall art up and replaced the door bell. We also had the carpets and sofa professionally cleaned.

For my sins, I received over 50 stings from fire ants...looks like I have measles. I also stood on one pair of glasses and managed to trap the other pair on the car door so both are knackered.

But on the bright side the house is perfect once more :-)

So our last day at the house. For once the maintenance was not too bad. We realised the beds were a little noisy so have replaced the box springs on 6 of the beds so they are now perfect.

Everything is spotless...house cleaned top to bottom. We bleached the deck and pool furniture etc.,

Plants look amazing...and the local wildlife comfy.

Hopefully the next guests will have the perfect vacation. Looking forward to returning soon.

So that was stressful...house painted inside (ok we paid someone to do that), deep clean, windows cleaned, drive scrubbed, pool furniture cleaned, BBQ cleaned and moved onto slabs fitted outside. Palm trees fed, mulch on the front plants, cut the dead branches, cleaned the showers, bought a new 65 inch TV and configured Roku devices in all the rooms...

House is beautiful for the next guests! Not the best of holidays. Next year the Maldives!

At the villa doing annual maintenance. Just had the whole house repainted...mega bucks!!! Then a new 65 inch UHD TV, Roku streaming sticks for 4 of the TVs. Cleaned all the pool furniture including the BBQ. I am a vegan and I have to clean the **** from the BBQ!

Laid a small set of paving to have the BBQ outside the pool screen. We also a deep clean of the house moving every piece of furniture. The next guests should enjoy!

Anyone want to buy a holiday villa in Orlando???

First week at the house for a while. Installed insulation in the garage/games room. Not an easy job but the difference is amazing. Much cooler now so maybe we won’t need an AC. We were always on the fence.

House is beautiful and clean. Pool deck has been repainted and looks great. Bought 2 matching outside tables.

Replaced the pillows and bought new bedding. Denise went shopping so there are more solar lights.

Just seen the local wildlife. Apparently harmless.

Arrived at the house yesterday. Up at 3.30...grout cleaned, pool deck power-washed. Bedding washed ready for the new year.

House looks in great shape ready for 2018

Spent the day cleaning the pool area and rescuing frogs. Unfortunately at least 30 dead in the pool but I also managed to save at least 30. And one snake that was about the size of a small worm! I assume it will get bigger. Should have taken a pic!
