Coming up with a new way to display shark teeth. It's always a challenge. I was trying to think outside of the box... well... I guess inside the box for this situation😆
Next time, I will probably try to center the tooth more. Within the box, for shorten the boxes a bit. You get the idea.....

A close up of the megalodon necklace that i'm wearing in this headshot. This is a Meg that I found in the peace River nearly a decade ago... It was missing a section of root. So I began to play with electroplating and shark tooth repair. Had to work on trying to repair the entire corner of the root lobe and attempting as much as natural to match shape. I think it turned out pretty well. 41 of my first attempts, and 10+ years later, it's still holding up and i'm wearing it proudly. ( This is the same image I made in A.i. for fossil day) man I love that shark shirt too. ❤️🦈

a TILLY BONE is typically a fish hyperstoic vertebrae or spine section that experiences an overgrowth and often has a puffy odd shaped, asymmetrical appearance. The german American paleontologist TILLY EDINGER first coined this phrase in a paper she published while working at Harvard department of Zoology in 1966.

She is another one of the great female scientists that made an important contribution in paleontology.

I consider myself extremely lucky to have had the opportunity to get to personally experience the museum in Dr. Hubbell's personal home. Definitely One of the most elite fossil shark tooth collections ever amassed. Here I was holding one of the few- known meglodon vertebrae! Memories I will forever hold!
