While many of these destinations are understandably on this list (and not really anywhere we send our clients), Uganda is one that may affect some travelers whose African Safaris include it on their itinerary. As part of our planning process, even once your reservations are confirmed, we continuously monitor your destinations for news like this. And then we help you separate real risk from headline risk (sometimes there is a big difference between the two).

When you book your international travel with us, rest assured we not only advise you to register with STEP, but we are also working out contingency plans with every travel supplier who is a part of your itinerary (and there are *several* for an African Safari)! We have lots of eyes and ears on the ground, who help to advise what is best for you, our client.

(If your African Safari is booked with us for the near future and includes Uganda, please be sure you keep our phone number and email on your "whitelist" to ensure our messages are reaching you!)

Here are a few questions we've received so we'll address them here in case others have the same:

Q: Can my child go on this trip with friends?

A: YES! We have some 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣7️⃣ (high school and college) grads who will be going! The minimum age to travel independently is 1️⃣8️⃣.

Q: Can I make payments?

A: YES! Once the $350 (per person) deposit is paid, we can set up a custom payment plan, right up until the final payment is due.
